The Brief
Long-standing client SockShop approached us to develop their debut national television advert. They needed a creative concept, full production, and media delivery – all aligned with their core message, “feel good from the feet up.” Although timed for October, ahead of peak Christmas sales, the ad needed to avoid festive clichés to ensure year-round relevance and maximum return on investment.
Our Creative Solution
We proposed a bold visual concept: a day in the life of a family, told entirely from the knees down. The advert followed a nuclear family through a series of choreographed sock-led movements – waking up, dancing through breakfast, daily routines, and finally relaxing on the sofa. No faces, just footwork. Shot with precision and energy, the result was a fun, stylish film that made socks the stars.

SockShop were thrilled with the result – a polished, distinctive film that perfectly reflected their brand. We managed the entire process, from creative through to production and Clearcast clearance, ensuring smooth delivery to ITV. The campaign marked a major milestone for the brand, and feedback from stakeholders and customers alike was overwhelmingly positive.
