THE OBJECTIVE
Northwood College, a prestigious GDST school in London, approached Ardent to create a vibrant, multi-part video series showcasing their five core values through a standout brand film and social media edits.
The brief was to reveal the heartbeat of the school – capturing a “normal, buzzy, vibrant day” – with real students living the values in action, set against their outstanding facilities.
The content needed to set Northwood apart in a highly competitive area, highlighting its modern, inclusive ethos where every girl is empowered, supported, and encouraged to act with kindness and confidence.
THE SOLUTION
A flagship promotional film – plus 5 shorter edits – encapsulating the school’s core values. The content was filmed in a contemporary, cinematic style, featuring students delivering lines to camera – authentic, creative, and emotionally resonant.
Working with Northwood’s brilliant marketing team was a genuine pleasure. Together, we co-wrote a powerful script, planned a detailed storyboard, and built a smooth production timeline to ensure a seamless shoot.
Over three bustling days of filming, we captured heartfelt pieces-to-camera, joyful interactions, and striking b-roll – bringing the school’s values, vibrancy, and spirit to life in every frame.
THE RESULT
The final video series paints Northwood College as a joyful, forward-thinking, and academically excellent girls’ school with a nurturing and inclusive culture that truly shines on screen.
The school’s team was over the moon. “It is beyond our wildest dreams and truly spectacular”. They are currently looking at distributing the main film via Sky AdSmart’s platform and screenings in local cinemas.
