The Brief
In the midst of the lockdown, an entrepreneur identified a pressing issue – the lack of tasty gluten-free at-home meal kits for those with gluten intolerance. From this idea Good It’s Gluten Free was born. But, despite having a strong concept, the company faced a twofold challenge: raising brand awareness for their new venture and demonstrating the simplicity of cooking their recipes with their meal kits. Seeking a solution that would convey their brand’s personality, whilst showcasing their simple and delicious recipes, they turned to our team of food film specialists to bring their vision to life.
Our Creative Solution
Collaborating closely, we delved into their brand ethos, aspirations, and unique personality. Armed with these insights, we uncovered our creative approach.
To showcase the brand we sourced a studio location that was both cool, interesting and neutral enough to not alienate people. A selection of props and set elements were also curated to make it on-brand, helping to create a seamless blend between the company’s personality and the cooking process. Hiring a skilled hand model and a food technician, we also injected some playful touches into the filming. With fun and illustrative packaging, we also added touches of this into the films with animation.
Creating seven videos in total, including their mouth-watering options, salmon tandoori, mushroom katsu, fried chicken, fish chilli, and chicken chilli, each recipe video not only showcased the culinary process but also embodied the brand’s essence and values.
The Result
The client was thrilled with the results. We successfully captured their brand personality, and the joy of cooking into short but highly impactful content. We also created a social media ad, that helped Good It’s Gluten Free connect with their target audience and generate the widespread interest they required.
